The Lantern Festival was passed last week. Although there was no atmosphere to celebrate Chinese New Year and the Lantern Festival here in LA, we did buy several packages of glutinous rice balls from the Chinese supermarket.
The glutinous rice balls are the traditional food to celebrate the Lantern Festival. The rice balls have different stuffing inside, such as sesame sauce, peanut sauce, etc. They usually taste sweet and yummy.
Eric loves to eat glutinous rice balls. He has requested to eat them as breakfast for three days in a row, which is very rare for a picker eater like Eric. 🙂
